Get Confirmation ID

For keys that use phone activation. Enter your order ID and the Installation ID from the activation window to receive your Confirmation ID (CID).

Spaces and dashes are fine. Copy it exactly from the phone-activation screen.

How to find your Installation ID

  1. Windows: press Windows + R, type slui 4, press Enter, choose your country, and copy the Installation ID shown.
  2. Office: open Word or Excel, go to the activation window, choose I want to activate the software by telephone, select your country, and copy the Installation ID in step 2.
  3. Enter your order ID and the Installation ID above, then click Get CID.
  4. Type the Confirmation ID into the boxes in the same activation window and click Activate.

This works only for keys sold for phone activation, and only on the device that created the Installation ID. Keep the activation window open while you wait. If you close it, a new Installation ID is created and you will need a new CID. Stuck? Email support@msckey.com with your order ID and Installation ID.
